Q:

What’s the cheapest jumper you have?

There are a lot of companies out there that will try to rent you something cheap just to get your business, but be careful, in this business you get what you pay for!  Many of the “cheap rentals” show up dirty, if they show up at all. And if the safety of your kids is a concern then you might want to pay the extra $10 or $15 to guarantee that your jumper is set up by a company that also considers your children’s safety a priority.  Our cheapest jumper” is about $69 and we guarantee that the right jumper will show up clean, on time and it will be set up safely, now that’s a bargain!

Q: Why should I worry about “Licensed” products?

When you order a “Sponge Bob” jumper for your little boy or girl, what do you expect to will show up for the party? If you go with the wrong company it may see Sponge Dude and it may not be pretty!  Top Hat Party Rentals only carries “Licensed Jumpers”.  So when you order a jumper from us you will get the real thing not some scary looking knock off.  This may not seem important if you’re trying to save a few dollars, but you probably wouldn’t buy Mora the Explorer plates and napkins or a birthday cake with Spider Dude on it either.

Q: When should I make my reservation?

We advise that you make your reservations about one month in advance. This will give you the best opportunity to get the jumper your want and to insure that we have the other party supplies you need.

Q: Can I get a “package” deal?

A:

 


YES! We always offer package pricing however, we cannot offer a discount when you order the cheapest jumper and one other item.  Our discounts are reserved for customers who want to order some of our more exciting inflatables along with food concessions and other products.  We also offer discounts when multiple jumpers are ordered.

Q: What is included in your pricing?

Everything! We do not surprise you by adding tax, delivery fees or other fees to your price.

Q: Should I tip my delivery person?

A:

 

Just like a waiter, valet or bellhop your delivery person works for a small wage plus tips.  Our delivery personnel will always provide you with professional courteous service, however, they will certainly respond to any tip that you may offer.

Q: What if my party is at a park?

A:

 

 

 

If your party is at a park you will need a source of electricity for the jumper. You can rent one of our generators for an additional fee.  You can also use your own generator.  It has to be a minimum of 3500 watts, it must be placed on plywood and surrounded with safety cones or caution tape.  It should also be able to run for the duration of your party on a full tank of gas.  Also if you’re going to have your party at the park you should check with the park district to see if any special permits are required.

Q: What about insurance?

Any reputable rental company is insured. If someone tries to sell you additional insurance, beware!  All of our products are insured however, you should know that insurance only covers you if the equipment fails or if the installation of the equipment was unsafe.  The customer is always responsible for supervision and for insuring the safety of the kids. If someone is hurt using our equipment because of improper use than the liability shifts to the customer.

What if it rains?

We have a foul weather guarantee.  Even if there is a 100% chance of rain for the day of your reservation, you can still keep your reservation without worry.  On the morning of your party our office will contact you if there is a likelihood of rain or high winds.  We will give you the option to cancel your reservation at no charge. Or you can change your reservation to a different day and get a discount.  If you choose to take a chance and keep your reservation only to have the weather put the equipment at risk after delivery then your equipment will be picked up early and no refunds will be offered.

Q: Why do you need my credit card?

A:

 

 

 

Two reasons. First, anytime you rent equipment a credit card or cash deposit is required.  This protects us in case the equipment becomes damaged.  As long as you keep the equipment safe your card will not be charged.  Second, just like when you make a hotel reservation and hold it with a credit card, we also require a card to hold your reservation.  Your card guarantees that equipment will be there for you and not rented to someone else.

We will not charge your card for the rental fees.  ALL rental fees are due in CASH only upon delivery, unless you have a business account with us.
